Football NSW Canteen and BBQ Safety Regulations
Grading
Policy The BDSFA Inc endorses the Football NSW Non Smoking Policy, the following rules are effective immediately (2/8/2004) The banning of smoking by players for the duration of the match in which they are participating. The banning of smoking by staff, officials, players, referees and volunteers in technical areas, sidelines, access ways to and from the field of play, canteen servery, food preparation areas, dressing rooms, change rooms and medical rooms. Ambulance Policy When a player has to be transported from the field of play by ambulance, the cost is borne by the player or the parent/guardian. The BDSFA Inc, nor its affiliates bear no responsibility for the payment of ambulance bills. The BDSFA Inc has a Player Accident Support Policy via FNSW with QBE Insurance. This policy is NOT to be viewed as a "private" health insurance, but it does offer some limited assistance in many costs. They may pay up to 75% of an ambulance bill providing the correct procedures have been followed. A Form is provided by FNSW which is to be completed and lodged by the player within 60 days of the incident. All further contact must be with QBE following their provision of a Case Number to the player. Alcohol at Grounds Policy Drinking of alcohol is prohibited on all grounds holding matches under the control of the BDSFA Inc. There are NO exceptions. Blacktown City Council also prohibits alcohol in public. There are large fines for consuming alcohol in public. All Council grounds have signs near the entry listing all prohibited items on the field. Alcohol is listed on those signs. The absence of a "NO ALCOHOL" sign does not allow the consumption of alcohol. Whilst the Management Committee upholds the "no alcohol on grounds" policy, we in no way ask our members to police this infraction with any more than a polite reminder to those who ignore the laws of this State.
